After being declared HIV and hepatitis-C positive by a private health laboratory in Lahore. Two years later he has discovered that the reports were false.
I applied for a work visa in Malaysia and I was told by the recruitment agency that before proceeding to that country I will have to undergo a medical check up.
I was referred to the ''Advanced Medical Diagnostic Centre'' situated at 86-Shadman, Lahore.
The centre’s pathologist Dr Abdul Majeed Arif in his report on August 13, 2005, had declared him HIV-and-hepatitis-C-positive.
I after consulting another doctor he started taking various medicine. “My condition put my entire family under continuous stress. We have spent a lot of money on my treatment.
Recently when I was
suffering from a fever my brother advised me to go to Islamabad for treatment. when I told the doctors in Islamabad that I was HIV-and-hepatitis-C positive.
Samples of his blood were sent to the National Institute for Health (NIH), Islamabad.
The NIH in its reports on March 24 said that I did not have infection. The doctors again took my blood samples to confirm the report.
The NIH also sent my blood to the Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad, to reconfirm the reports.
The hospital’s reports on March 29, 2007, confirmed that I had no HIV-or-hepatitis-C infections.
This is my two-years nightmare.
How it happed, i am surprised. Where to go for justice if i do not have a big amount to pay to lawers and courts.?
